My sauna heats slowly — is the heater bad?

Usually no. Slow heat-up is most often a failed contactor, a dirty thermostat sensor, or a partially open door seal. We diagnose on the first visit and only replace the heater if elements are actually burned out.
Can you replace cedar that's gone gray or rotted?

Yes. We carry western red cedar and Nordic spruce for bench rebuilds, wall paneling and trim. For larger restorations we'll quote a full re-line — often cheaper than a new sauna.
